Thereupon an international archeological-geographical expedition “Kyzyl-Kuragino” has been initiated by the Russian Geographical Society with the support of the Russian business and academic circles. There are two regions of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Tuva and Krasnoyarsk region – and they meet the volunteers of the expedition targeted in the field diggings of the ancient settlements, the research and preservation of unique artifacts dating back to the Scythian period in history.
More than 1,000 young people from all over the world took part in this project within last 2 years – American, European, Latin American and of course Russian volunteers were among them.
